wrong way on my new bike

finally took the plunge and bought myself a bike to get around london with. so far so good.. visited 3 different bike shops today trying to find the specific bike with the proper size for me. in the end i needed a S (small) and had to take quite a hike to fenchurch to get it. finally after much testing and deliberation, consultation, worrying and wondering, i'm finally one bike richer and many many pounds poorer :( hopefully, this investment will make up with more exercise (it has already but more on that later) and faster travelling times to central london :) which i gather it might :)

i tried cycling to amanda's this evening but got slightly lost and finally ended up somewhere near shoreditch. i was supposed to cross queen victoria street to be immediatelly infront of st pauls but noooo... i saw a huge crowd and thought i'd be smart and try another route, only to miss and end up going way past where i had ought to. (see map below) but alls well, an extra 10 mins later i realised my mistake.. by then i was way off. another 10mins of rectification and i was well on my way home :)
